TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

• Drive carefully, reducing erosion and preventing land damages. Avoid leaving wheel marks, as they cause the formation of canals that produce erosion.

• Animals have priority. Vehicles startle animals, both on the road and on the paths. You should be ready to slow down or even fully stop the vehicle and wait for them to pass. Animals must be able to go their ways.

• As long as it is possible, follow paths that are already formed.

• The rights of way change in every country. If needed, ask for permission before crossing private property.

• As slow as possible, as fast as needed. This motto will lead you through most obstacles, reducing environmental impact to the minimum.

• If your vehicle is equipped with Terrain Response, put it in the right position before getting into complicated surfaces with a reduction gearbox. In such a way, you can reduce the wheels’ spinning and the terrain damages. This is also applicable if your vehicle has a differential lock.

• Make sure your vehicle is ready for the trip. Take appropriate tools and spare pieces, check regularly the state of the motor and prevent oil, fuel or hydraulic fluid loss.

•Be responsible for your actions, even when not driving: use biodegradable or ecologic cleaning products, clean your vehicles away from flowing water (rivers, creeks…) and take the trash home with you.

• Before going back to the road, check the state of your vehicle’s body, headlights and tires, and clean up the number plate. Once on the road, drive slowly to prevent damaging other users with mud or stones that might leap from your tires.
